¡Hola, me llamo Sr. García!
I am looking forward to another successful year here teaching Spanish at Chino Hills High, and I am very excited to meet you all. It will be a very exciting year for you since you will be learning (or continuing to learn) the third-most spoken language on Earth. This year, we will be starting the year via distance learning, so please continue our webpage and Google Classroom via www.senorgarcia.com. I will be teaching Spanish 1, 3H, and AP4 and I teach primarily in Spanish using constant repetition that includes: daily routines, vocabulary introductions with hand gestures (TPR), stories (TPRS), partner sharing, songs, book work exercises using our textbook, pictures with presentations, and games.
Learning a new language is an excellent tool to communicate to more global communities, however it's important to establish a strong foundation when learning. Be sure to follow my instructions, respect the classroom rules, be kind to your peers as we start and/or continue this journey as one unit, and most importantly, have fun!
